Today's trip to Albertson's

Our local Albertson's had some good deals this past weekend, so I headed there this afternoon for a few items.  The flyer didn't have any Twice the Value coupons like Albertson's flyers in other states, so I couldn't quite get cereal for $0.48 a box, but still, I tried my darndest to save a few $$$.

I'm a Special K fan, but I'll only buy it when I have a coupon or it's on sale - preferably both!  This weekend it was $1.99 a box, limit 4 per customer per day, and I had coupons for $1.00 off 2 boxes sized 11.4 oz or larger.  Of course, the Chocolatey Delight was only 11 oz.!

Some General Mills cereals were 2 for $5.  I had 2 coupons, each for $0.75 off Multi-Grain or Multi-Grain Peanut Butter Cheerios, so I got 2 boxes.

Lärabars were $1 each, and I had a coupon for $0.75 off 3.  Progresso Recipe Starters were $1 each, no coupon.

I also got a 4-pack of Dannon Light Greek Yogurt for $3 (no coupons), and 2/3# of beef brisket for dinner ($1 coupon).  Pretend that you see them here :-)

Today's haul - yogurt and brisket had already been put away.

Take the savings amounts with a grain of salt, since Albertson's regular prices are high, but still, savings is savings ... but only if it's savings on something you'll actually use!
